1. What we collect
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and a hashed password. When you use ClientDock, we store the portals, files, links, and updates you create.
Files you upload are stored securely via Vercel Blob. We do not access or read file contents beyond what is necessary to serve them.
2. How we use your data
We use your data solely to operate and improve the ClientDock service. Specifically:
- To authenticate you and manage your account
- To serve your portals to your clients
- To send transactional emails (welcome, account updates)
- To improve the product based on usage patterns
We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.
3. Who can see your portals
Portals you create are accessible to anyone with the share URL. If you enable password protection, a password is required to view the portal. You are responsible for sharing portal links only with intended recipients.
4. Third-party services
We use the following third-party services to operate ClientDock:
- Vercel — hosting and file storage
- Resend — transactional email delivery
- Neon / PostgreSQL — database
Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data needed for them to function.
5. Data retention
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing us at hello@clientdock.pro. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
6. Cookies
We use a single authentication cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, email hello@clientdock.pro.
